Delve into the dismal essence that I have failed to evade. A convoluted consciousness to divert myself from the absolute, to circumvent my reality. The denial slips into my hands from yours, distracting myself from the inevitable harm. A beautiful illusion of sincerity, the veiling of perfection is tearing at each seem. Disrupt my cadence for the final time
and find a new prey to entice. No longer shackled by a vain affection, I will pull the rope from which you've strung me upon and watch your persona unravel. Transient: prepared to shed your skin, and abandon your obligation. Present a feigned interest, and reap admiration, but your only substance is fabricated passion. The denial slips into your hands from mine to reassure that the process repeats itself. Lingering inside your grasp, do you parade me around like a cross on your back? If I glorified your impression, I'd exhume each thorn you've embedded in my marrow and make a crown for myself. But I won't bleed for your sake.
