Minimal Complaints
should not outweigh
the privileges we’ve taken for granted
At a moments notice, i find myself at my deepest low
for no viable reason
or justified circumstance
instant gratification has soiled the means to appreciate
and to take what we can get
this is no way to live
My wounds are but a scratch
to a world thats bleeding
to a world thats breaking
there is no excuse to feel distressed
Their suffering reminds me
that my pain is significant
its frustrating to lack complacency
when i’ve been given everything I need
Minimal complains force me to dread my days
it’s evident that I’m taking this all for granted
I’m so ashamed
To put this blatantly: I’m no better, and it could be much worse.
